I have a oil leak in my braided line and i want to replace the line Not the fittings...can i save the fittings by removing them? and how hard is it to just remove the fittings and replace the line

If it's an Earl's or the like it's easy they come apart but if it's a factory fitting that's crimped you can't. You can just go buy a couple fittings and a new piece of hose and make a complete new one for around 25. bucks depending on what fittings you need to use.

need a vice to hold the fitting for assembly and a clean way to cut the line

Make sure to wrap the line with tape before making the cut or they will fray. I use a dremel with a cut off wheel. There is probably a better way but thats what works for me.
