I know we have tons of members from up north! Is everyone accounted for? Anyone need anything? We can get together and help some bothers in need!

Great idea, Shane. I'm in upstate NY. If there's something I can do please let me know. I'm six hours from the city, but, will help anyway I can. Phil.

I drive truck to nyc 3 times a week, was there wed, thurs, and today. What a mess up there, lots of people still without power, tunnels are flooded, nasty lines at gas stations(people getting frustrated and pulling guns in line).Hopefully they are at least benefitting from the food I bring up there.

Gnguru was texting me last night and I was trying to clue him in to get gas. He was telling me they have 2-3 hours in line for only a little bit of gas and he was gonna bring a whole bunch of cans up here to CT to get a bunch

Starting to get back to normal in Eastern, Pa. We are about 20 miles from NJ.

Haven't heard from Bruce Urie (sp) since his last post saying it wasn't pretty where he is. Granted he doesn't get on often but I was hoping he'd get back and say he was ok.

Gas is a real problem.

For those of you that remember the 70's, they just started the gas rationing with the last number in your license plate being odd you can get gas on odd days, and vice versa

We got lucky here. Only minor stuff. However gas is a problem. MTA is slowly bringing back service. Power is a problem for lots of people.

Ah, Charlie, you're such a good guy....................yeah, OK here............we got hard rain, lots of it, six inches....but thankfully no flooding.......lots of wind around 40-50 mph..........scary, but we really dodged a bullet! My wife and I are so thankful and lucky................few trees down, but elsewhere......just got back from a trip (no computers there) helping a buddy saw up quite a few downed trees on his property......(note to self and warning to others here: Do not use chainsaw for hours if you have a bad back......ask me how I know:rolleyes:) A bitch of a back pain now, but it'll calm down after a few days............twisted left leg hard and hurts like hell at this time.........might have to see a doctor if it doesn't abate.........looks like others up north took a hell of a beating and it was so sad, heartbreaking to see all of the damage up there.......MY GOD, what a disaster and what those people are going through..............and those GAS lines!!!!!!Those folks are going to need all the help they can get.............as Shane said, if any can get together up there and help, please do so......you'll be doing the Lord's work, you know.

When I got on here finally tonight, I read this thread and the one I started before the storm......I want to say it did my heart good to hear all the good wishes given not only to me, but everyone else who was in this horrible storm's path......all the personal wishes from my good buddies here actually brought a few tears to my eyes, so, I thank you so kindly from my heart............you guys just don't know how much a few good words to me can make me feel better............I know, without a doubt, I've got some real God given friends here on this forum.........you just can't do any better than that.....thanks from the heart, fellas.

So, back here I am........got to vote tomorrow, then mulch all the fallen leaves here, and do some catching up.....I sure hope the guys here on the forum who got hit hard in the storm are making out the best they can......work hard, do a lot of praying, and stay safe..........I know some of you got hit really hard.....my prayers are with you............if I were in NJ or New York, I'd be glad to help, but I'm too far away.

So good to have personal caring from my good buddy Scot W., James, (TTAOwner), Turbotguy, Peter (Red C5),GofjtBuick, Bogies87, Mark, TrCustom, Ty, (JohnDeerGN), good to hear from you, Ty. David, Turbopowered6, I hope you're doing better at this point....looks like you took a hell of a beating.

Sorry for the late report, Charlie......couldn't help it....but thankful for your caring......I don't care what Shane and Jay say, I think you're a nice guy......:D:p (snicker, snicker)

Again, we dodged a BIG BULLET.....we are the luckiest saps here ever!!!!!

Just glad you're ok along with the rest of your clan Bruce.;) It does strike me as funny that you mention mulch and the election at the same time though. One's natural BS and the others man made after all.:p

Great idea Shane. Anything I can do to help count me in. We have quite a few customers back East. Talking to some of them over the last few days has made me hug my family a bit harder. Everyone out there stay strong, I'm sure it's a lot to deal with.
