how is lag with te63?

thinking of going to this turbo for street strip car. matching it up with 72lb. injectors, 3500 9/11 stall, fmic, and champion irons. Is there any special warnings about this combo from anybody? Will the 72's be OK on the street? I can use these with a modified factory computer, right? te63 users - how is the lag on the street with the right convertor? Can I use my THDP with it? Anything else special that I need to run this setup?

you have picked a good combo more than enough injector and yes you will need a modified ecu.you will not have any turbo lag hang on and rock and roll.mylast1

I have a 63E. Decent spool with the right converter. I would recommend a Max Effort with 72s. Also a double pumper with your set up if you do not have one yet.

It's just like my old one[except for the injectors,mine were 50's].

long as you have the right converter (3400 or so) it works very well. It is one of the classic turbos for street/strip, imo.

Spools like mad on my car with a 3200 vigilante,should be great with the 3500 9/11.
