SignUp Now!You'll need 4.33 cans. I weighed one of my old cans and it weighs 14.7 oz. The other can is significantly lighter which means some refrigerant has leaked out,so it is possible for it to leak. Weighing your cans will tell you what you have. You should be able to find some on ebay.Yea I’m pretty sure mines are 12oz

you get those fittings I showed youI sourced out R12 on my local Craigslist, Offer Up, and Facebook marketplace - I ended up getting cans from $15 to $20 per can. I don't believe I have a completely empty system, but I bought enough to get me through a full recharge if system is empty.

nice if you have enough r-12 ,I still have my old ac hoses if you ever need themI did get the adapter for the high side fitting and picked up a used R12 gauge set locally for like half the cost of a new set. This set will be just for the Buick anyway.
I have heard of it being used with no issues , I think I have some let me go lookWhat do you guys think of Redtek as an R12 substitute?
