I have a quick question.

I am picking up my first GN tomorrow and would like to know if there is anything specific I should look for on this car before I hand over the cash. The GN is a 1987, 77000 miles, one owner, and zero mods.

I would ask to hear a cold start up. Listen for noises. Ask if there's ever been any bodywork done. Original paint? Make sure the VIN has the "7" for turbocharged. Sniff the inside of the car for moisture odors. Look around for rust....wheel wells, bottom of the doors. A/C work? Tranny shift good? Does car smoke? Check all fluids. Post some pics if you can, we can help more that way.

It does look quite clean. Dont worry about the motor or trans. U'll be upgrading both sooner or later anyway... Id be more concerned with paint, body and interior.

Hard to say in my opinion, but could possibly be something with a sensor not set properly. TPS maybe?
