Install Question for PTS Folks-

Next week I am going to have my PTS extreme Street strip trans and 9X11 LU Billet verter installed. I bought in March from you guys. Is there anything special I need to tell the tranny guy for this trans? How much fluid does this trans hold? (forgive me if you already told me back in March but it has been a long time.

Going with new flexplate and spicer u-joints while I have it apart. Hoping my "Knock" leaves with the old trans and converter.

Sorry Bogie it took so long to see this post. First it would depend on if you have a stock, shallow or deep pan. I would start adding two quarts to the converter prior to putting it into the pump. Then add about 6 to 8 quarts to the trans. Start the car with the rear wheels up in the air on jack stands and run it thru the gears. Recheck your fluid level and add to the full mark on your dipstick. We use Dextron/Mercon and add two quarts of tractor hydraulic fluid. Any questions give us a call.
