Intercooler Preference with ALKY

I am in the process of redoing the setup on my S2 which mostly will see street duty with Pump gas and ALKY. I expect to be in 800hp range (76 precision, S2 heads, 230+ solid) and currently have a precision front mount.
I've read through the recent threads in the general section regarding vertical orientation and pressure drop. If you could redo your intercooler what would be your choice, or am I wasting money given the precision does pretty well?
