Is going from a non l/u to a lock up converter worth the $$?

I currently have an Art Carr 3500 n/l now.

I'm awaiting my staged double pumpers (a must) and was wondering if a converter swap would be worth it?

What sort of gain would or COULD I see?

that is a good question, only way to find out is to try a lockup converter, i have a pts 3800 on the way, so i will let you know how it works soon. I would not sell your old converter though until you find some thing that works better.
