The pistons look like atleast 140,000 miles.
My pull-outs from my 158k GN engine look almost new in comparison. no scuffs...no carbon buildup on top....just no comparison.

Not trying to start a Pi--ing match here, but if that crank will clean up at 10ths. cut I'll eat it. Do you realize that's 5ths. per side? NO WAY !!!
Crank came out of a running turbo gn with std bearings I didn't want to pay to have it checked and I'm no machinest so to be honest looks to me like it polish out.shipping $29.27
Ill eat one half if you eat the other no way thats goin 10/10
I would be suprised if it wouldn't clean up at .010/.010. Would be interesting to see.
Looks like the only thing usable in that mess is the rods... and they'd probably need recon'd anyway. Everything else is garbage.
Chalk it up as a learning experience.
It sucks when an idiot doesn't have the slightest idea how to securely package critical items like that.
Would you buy it with it being advertised as a 40k mile crank that came out of a wrecked GN that was running fine....that might just need a polish.... but will definately go 10/10......
I didn't think so.
You may be right, but I would have also gotten pictures 1st.
You didn't ask if I would buy it, you asked if it was junk.
That's interesting. I am told at the UPS store I used that if packaging is incorrect they will not honor the claim. I pay them to package my stuff I send out so if this ended up at this poor guys doorstep, they would have no choice to honor the claim.
