It's official..Doors NEEDED!

Ok, after lots of thought, it's official, I'm re-doing the Regal and need both doors. I'm right around Green Bay Wisconsin, I'm willing to drive a state or 2 away, the closer the better, MUST be rust free, nice doors, no junk, no crazy prices.

Ideally what I'm looking for are 2 power Limited doors, Dont need glass. But for the right price I'll take any Solid/straight (minor dents fine) Cutlass/Regal door. My car is a 83 Limited. Send me pics of what you have Yedica@msn.com

Doors look good, I take it you do Body work also?? (from looking at the background in the pics) Did you grind the paint off yourself? How straight is the rest of the doors? ever been repainted, or original paint? (I dont want any doors that have been re-skinned) and, do these doors include power window/locks?

I know this is alot of questions, I'm just covering my a$$ Hopfully we can follow through w/ this deal. Look forward to hearing from you. thanks!

I DID TAKE THE PAINT OFF MYSELF, USING A RUST FIGHTER WHEEL NOT A GRINDER

THE DOORS WILL NEED SMALL DENT REPAIR AND BLOCKING TO BE PERFECT

APPEARS TO BE ORIGINAL NOT RESKINNED, STILL HAD FACTORY SEAM SEALER

THEY ARE COMPLETE DOORS MINUS DOOR PANELS, GLASS INCLUDED

Thanks again UnderdogGN, I'll be contacting you By Monday for sure. I'm gonna wait a little bit more this weekend, more than likely I'll be buying from you.

I can't stress how important Pictures are, a bunch of guys have responded, but no pics, I will not buy doors w/out seeing them. I dont care how good you say they are, I'm sure they probably are, but there are too many people who dont understand what Rust free means.

Seriously, this baffles me. I've driven to a guys house, when he told me over the phone, 100% rust free, I get there and he questions why I'm looking so close at the door, couldnt get it in the truck fast enough for him,he says, "don't you trust me?" I get it home to find out it's had a door skin put on it becuase the bottom was rusty, It's not a Bad door (for $90) but not somthing that I want to spend a bunch of time on fixing the big dents in it.. This was a fellow board member may I mind you..

These are really nice and if someone doesnt grab these id be intersted if you wanted to put them on a pallet and ship them to CT. Doors like this that are not on garage queens in the northeast are non existent.

daturbosix, I really need a pair, seems like everybody has a passenger door for sale, I have yet to hear of someone that has just a drivers door for sale.

I have a pair of doors not exactly what you are looking for though. Has surface rust, not rusted through and no patches. Looks to be original paint. Lower rear corner has a spot that needs attention shown in the pics. $200 for the pair.

I got one, but its in Idaho, pass. side, I think the dr. side might have some dents in it, they were on my 84 T/R when I wrecked it 15 or so years ago, but they sure do not look like the blue ones before, there are rust free SW
Idaho doors, cars do not rust out here, I'm from Mich. oringally sp, they are white, shipping is the killer part, I really feel sorry for you guys back there with all that friggin rust, we do not even rust proof here, I do not even think there is even a shop that even does it. LMK, I'm outside of Boise, maybe you have a trucker friend et al.

Interesting info. For the longest time we had a lot of Regals in the parts yards here. Since the beginning of the year, I'm lucky if I find one in the local pick-it-yourself lots.

jstahl, I kept your original pics of that door, nicest one around, no doubt, I just wish it was closer than Texas... If evrybody would take pics like you do, it wouldnt be an issue judging if a door is good or not.
