So I have never really vented on here before...not normally an angry kind of person...but today was just one of those days.
I work for a large health insurance company...and deal with sensitive issues on a regualar basis. I try to keep in mind that health insurance is often confusing to understand, and that most people hate dealing with insurance companies. I'm always as helpful as I can be, keeping in mind the serious effects a denied claim can have on people. But WHY must the most ignorant of people always end up contacting ME?!?! OMG...I know there are stupid people in the world...but it feels like somebody gathered all their addresses together and sent them a note to call me. It drives me NUTS! I had a lady FLASH me today in an attempt to get a boob reduction! :eek: I swear...this is what brings people to take up alcoholism...:rolleyes:
OK...thanks for listening...I'm done...off to the liquor store...lol :p

Yes I'm complaining! First, I'm a female...second, most (not all, but most) women in need of a breast reduction aren't exactly the ones you want to see topless if you catch my drift. That was among many things today that made me bang my head of my desk. The prize goes to the guy who called me to ask for my fax number...then called back screaming because it "beeped" when he tried to call it. I said a small prayer for him. :rolleyes:
 
Mrs FastNasty, I am in the hotel business and have been in it for 35 years and let me tell you it takes all kinds of people to make the world go round!! I could tell you stories all day long and never cover them all!! I like my profession or i wouldnt stay in it but sometimes you get to the point where you just wonder how some people make it thru life. If i deal with someone who has not got sense enough to walk and chew gum at the same time i just deal with it and then i will have a good cold beer, maybe 2 or 3 or 4!! that always helps!!!!:D

Good to know I'm not alone! My husband said he was going to get me a pad to go on my desk...maybe that will help me keep the bruising down when I resort to banging my head...lol
Gotta love those special kind of people that trip when they walk!
