Hey guys, I just got my Gn running last night finally, it sounds healthy, but the one thing I have going on is a service engine light after the car runs about 10 seconds and the tach does not operate, it also has a slight hunting idle, Im planning on bringing my scanner home to check it out tonight but was hoping there was something I may have missed that somwebody may know of? The crank and cam sensors are plugged in, I never touched either of them, I do need to adjust the TPS but thats all that I know about.....

What was done:
-accufab 70mil Tb with plenum and RJC plate-new tps
-replaced lower intake gasket
-new coil and module
-cleaned up vaccum lines and new pcv
-lots to the wiring but nothing that I can think of relating to the ignition system??
-Ta headers
-many other misc items for cleanup purposes

Thanks for any help, Ryan

Since you have an SES light, what's the trouble code? Not going to help much guessing at a 1,000 different things without knowing the code.

Dave, I did not have my scanner at home last night, ill bring it home tonight and pull codes, im thinking it may be a faulty module because its the only part of the ignition that was touched and directly correlates to the tach seeing as how thats where the tach drives from, ill check codes tonight and post them tommorow, hopefully no big deal!!

tach ... did you plug the gray fuel pump test wire to the white wire W/green plug by the bottom of the alt ??? if so unplug it and the tach will work again :p
