What is the best laptop to use with the powerlogger,translator pro set-up?? I keep having issues with port connection and recording stops during runs I am using a Dell Latitude.

You may be triggering some kind of hard disk protection (shock) protection.

PL logs into the windows memory, which can page to disk if you don't have a lot of RAM. I think Tunerpro logs to disk.

I use a low cost ACER laptom with upgraded memory to 1.5 Gig and Vista home, No problems at all. Hope this helps. Brad

Screen was froze every time after the passes. I would stop recording then port error connection would appear while I was waiting to save it.

Power logger only Bob. The pro works all the time? If I rev the car while watching the power logger. The graph stops or moves very slowly. It has a very bad delayed action???
