Len Freeman..Performance Trans???

I have been trying to find a phone# for Len Freeman...He used to own Performance Trans in Las Vegas...I believe he is now with Gallina - Freeman Racing But there is no contact info on the site.... I know there has been numerous posts on a few different sites (including this one) where people only have bad things to say about him. I used to live in Vegas and know Len personally and he helped me out many times...When I had my RX-7 at the west coast nats.. My cam went flat and he helped me replace the bent push rods so I could make it home. I also limped my brothers T-Type that was slipping BAD to his shop and he stored it for me overnight... The next day I brought him a spare trans to swap. I waited for about a half hour and the job was done... When I asked how much I owed him he told me no charge!
So from my experience he is a stand up guy...Always has been..The reason I am even posting this is because he built the trans thats in my RX-7 (came out of TTA #844 John Galina's car) and the input shaft broke so I want to do a complete rebuild that will hold up to the power numbers I want to make with no problems in the future so I need to know what he has already done to the trans so I can order the parts I need? I wouldn't have even posted all this in the first place but every number and E-Mail I have is disconnected? Where are you Len?? E-mail me turborx6@yahoo.com or call 630-835-5827 Thanks...

Send it to Lonnie at Extreme Automatics, may take a few weeks but he builds a bad azz tranny, and ACTUALLY stands behind his work. Can't say that of others.

The car is in Vegas and I already have a friend thats been building transmissions for 20+ years with 200-4R experience thats going to do it for me. I talked to David Husek from TB Performance and he sounds like a very nice guy and even offered to talk to my trans guy and make sure he knows all the tips and tricks. Plus I think we are going to work out a trade. I have an exhaust he wants and I need trans parts....The reason I wanted to talk to Len is to find out exactly what he put in the trans when he built it so I can get every thing I need.

Try this number. Like what was mentioned, Len is doing other stuff now, but he does do transmissions as time allows. I believe he uses a stall at this place. They should be able to get you in touch.

I talked to len over email about 6 months ago. I had a real hard time getting a hold of him as well. He said he was still doin trannys on the side, and was suppose to have me send mine down with another guys that was in my area, but he went silent and I never heard from him again.

I still have his email, it could be worth a try, PM me and Ill shoot it to ya if you want.

You might give him a hard time too if he ripped your buddy off and only manned up when everybody on here found out about it, and then his good buddy threatened to kill you.

I hope you get ahold of him, I am sure he will fix you right up.

If thats what happened (I'm not saying it didn't) you have every right to be pissed off....S*** I would be too... This is most likely why nobody can find the guy anymore and he is out of business... I personally have never had a problem with him. I was simply saying this issue has already come up numerous times before. Not only on this forum but a couple others as well. I didn't start this thread to have history repeat its self over and over again. If you actually read my posts you would see all I am asking for was some contact info to find out what parts are in my broken transmission he built years ago. I don't like to start problems or fight with anybody especially on any TB forum. Now, If I got ripped off like your "buddy" did then yes I would raise hell.... But I didnt... So unless you have a phone number for me, I'm guessing you dont.... Feel free to start your own Len Freeman thread and bash the s*** out of him as much as you want. I'm just asking you not to do it here...Thank You.

I don't have a phone number for you, but there is a guy on here that should. His name is Geno, that's his screen name too. He lives up north in Washington. He and Lenny Free are good buddies, they even dress alike.

Might give him a try, I bet he has his number.
