Just wanted to let everyone know as well as lonnie that he did a awsome job with this new trans brake setup. :)

I was able to install lonnies new trans and trans brake setup in my car last weekend. Everything went smooth with the install of the trans and wiring of the trans brake.

I also got to do some street testing with it and i can tell you one thing for sure, lonnie has it figured out . This trans brake has instant setup, as soon as i press the button the trans is locked. Also it has instant release. At first i wasn't sure if i was going to be able to get to the shifter in time to shift it out of first, but after playing with it a few times i got it down. now this is on the street so at the track we will see if i can get to the shifter in time.

When i say instant release and setup its as close to instant that i can tell. There is no lag at all. As soon as i press the button its locked and as soon as i let go of the button the tires are spinning to all hell .

Anyways if you are on the bench waiting to see what people say about it don't wait. IMOP there is nothing to wait for. Call Lonnie and order it. This is by far the best setup i have had. If you want any more info fell free to call me or pm me and i will answer your question. till next time here is a link to the brake http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/transmission-talk/319214-2004r-pressure-release-transbrake.html and a link to his site

Do you have the PTC 9.5? I think you’re going to have a consistent setup.;) Good Luck!! I can’t wait to get my setup going and get some track time.

lee, i sure hope it does. at 23 psi if i didn't have that POP from a bad plug wire it would have gone 11.00 but 11.24 it was. also this year i will have some slicks and the t brake so that should help those 60 foots. Best of a 1.56 last year. im not sure how much the TA-54 i have has in it. im going to monitor back pressure this year so that should tell me something. i also talked to patrick at precision and i have the part # of the .85 exhaust housing. I will probley have to go that route after this year.

Also i do have the ptc 9.5 N/L and so far the #'s are looking real good as far as slip (4-5%)

I'll be there! to observe your run.

should have blue car there running too !
new job is time consuming, but alot I can do from home,
I guess we should start the hype for PHX pretty soon! LOL
lets see, who can we wind up like a cheap watch?
