No need to take the offensive and be a dick about it, I don't consider my car a failure either. And I never said anything about shops for tuning, I was referring to engine builders for the most part. I no longer have time to do most of my own work, so I may need a shop to do some for me. Congrats if you do have the time, I have a newborn son and I own a business, so sometimes it makes more sense for me to pay someone to work on my cars. For example I paid a local shop to install my nitrous system. I have personally installed quite a few systems myself, but in the 11 hours he had in it, which cost me about $400 or so, I made a couple thousand. Hence its better for me to go that route.
You really should try reading what I post. I never said to "quit" or give up. I said another car might be a nice break from the buick. I never said to sell the buick, I said if it was financially possible to try another car, it gives you a break from the buick. Sometimes thats all it takes. Hell it doesn't have to be another car, it could be a bike, truck, boat, whatever.
My point with the $3200 shortblock was he was making 900+hp on it, not with a $15,000 stage 2 motor.
Like I said, READ what I post. My car was not and is not a failure. And my current car isn't either. You are out of line to say what you said, mostly because you apparently decided to reword my comments. I won't miss the few guys like you I've encountered in the Tr community.
And don't bash other cars, any car can be fast, I just found LS1's are better suited to my needs right now. Maybe a buick is better for others. Great for them. I've learned to respect almost all cars, something you should try.
And quit being a smart ass, we can have a conversation like adults.
