Lost all my gears except for 1st, not sure what happened

was on my way home today, took of from a stop sign and was slipping around 4krpm then shifted into 2nd, then went fine from 2nd to 3rd. didnt seem to want to shift into 4th. got closer home and slowed into 2nd and now it wouldnt shift into third anymore. by the time i got home 1st gear was the only one i had left. tranny didnt overheat and fluid level was good, no hard driving.

could the tv cable at the tranny side gone out of wack, or is there something internal that could have gone wrong? time for a rebuilt?

i didnt rev past 4000rpm to see if it would go into 2nd, just seemed to be stuck in 1st.

How many miles on the trans?

that sucks, not sure what the problem could be, but I would be talking to the builder / trans shop
