Anyone have a min and max they work with? Anyone been able to locate the over size clutch plates (.092")

Its not real critical as it is not a shifting clutch.
Stacking it with factory thickness steels and clutches wand the wave plate will net you waht will work.
MAKE SURE that the sheetmetal apply ring is installed in the piston though,if not then you will have way to much

With this clutch pack you are better off with more clearance than less. There is relative movement between the clutches and steels in the forward gears so any way to reduce drag would be benificial.

Sounds as though you are doing your assemble. As mentioned stay with stock thickness steels. Looser = better
Assemble and check travel through the hole in case--as long as the lip seal don't come out of the piston bore on apply you are good to go.
 
You only need to eye ball the clearance through the opening mentioned before. I look for about the thickness of one low/rev friction plate.
