Swapping back up motor into grand national to put ls motor in.

Picked up a complete running 5.3 with 101k miles.just have to bolt intake back on after it was taken off to remove engine..now I have two 5.3 motors to back up the 4.8..
Seems like this ls stuff is easy to come by and dirt cheap.

Decided to go with the 2010 ls3 ss camaro exhaust manifolds to sit the turbos closer to the front of the heads..

you inspire me brother
i wish i had the money and space required to do this myself

Thanks...
The swap is not that expensive if you can get a good complete motor and harness for around $500-$600
set a goal to keep your cost under $3500 and do as much as you can yourself..

Yah I just looked there is one for sale near me for 400 bucks no harness though and I can only do so much my self there would be a pretty large learning curve also a thing for tools and space

It's always good to check the board to see if there is any members in your area who can help out..good luck with your build. .

Got some much needed paint work done on the buick ..
This was a t-top car, now it's a hard top...
Tops were rusty and leaking..
Hard top and 8 point roll cage was done by pro tree kustoms in apopka,fl
Once it's running we will give a complete paint job...

update ..installed billet fuel rails with -8 fuel line crossover..using stock injectors for mock up.
.have to put a few washers in bracket to keep from hitting intake bolts

working on the turbo pipe..will go up and forward 6 inches with flanges and turbos will sit facing forward

This is two examples of how I am routing the hot side and will brace the turbos to frame for support
