The stock master cylinder on my 83 Regal is leaking (vacuum style) and I am wanting to replace but not sure which to choose. I have since installed Dual Piston Calipers up front and a Wilwood Rear Disc setup out back. Is a stock replacement unit good enough to power the upgrades or is there a performace unit I should be looking for? Any help appreciated

The stock unit should work just fine.
If you can find a NEW one, it would be highly recommended.
Some older cars are getting parts manufactured this way now.
I am not aware of upgraded m/c, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

Hydroboost Vs Vacuum Vs Powermaster

You Can Use The Iron Corvette Master Cyl, Or We Have The Trick 1 Lb. Wilwood Master Cyl It Comes In 1" Or 1 1.25" Piston Sizes. You May Need The 1.125" With All Of Those Calipers, And A Hydroboost System To Bring Up The Pressure. Most Cars That Came With 4 Disc Had Hydroboost Or Some Type Of High Pressure Booster To Generate The Pressure Needed For Disc Brakes. The Lincolns, For Example, All Had Hydroboost Or The German 12v Abs Booster/pump. The 12v Lincoln Boosters Have All Fried The Elec. Pumps By Now, Though.
