Hey guys

Look at my sig for my GN.

What predictions for max horsepower and max boost levels??

I just did a little testing run during lunch with the 5.6 TT chip @ 18lbs. Getting up to 90% duty cycle on the 60 lb injectors. Around 19 degrees of total timing and 50% 100 sunoco race gas.

On paper, 60's should be able to support over 575 flywheel HP at 80%.
I doubt I'm making that much power at 18lbs on my 4.2 V-6.

Thanks

interesting, 60s x 6 inj= 360 lbs.hr /.6 (rich sbfc)=600 hp gross x 90 % DC= 540 gross hp x (.8 drive trainlosse)s= 432 net HP.

Does that sound a bit better?

hmmm.

I always thought that you figured total rated hp for injectors as follows:

lbs per hr. x number x 2

so 60 x 6 x 2 x = 720

720- x .9 = 648

This is how PTF always rated their injectors for matching them to Turbo's

All flywheel HP ratings

Looks like they are using .5 for the brake specific fuel consumption. It may work but you would want a little bit of safety factory left. That would have no room for error, or you would need one really efficient engine.

OK noted.

I guess my big concern is that all I have switched is from 50llb injectors and TT SD chip to 60lb injectors and TT 5.6 chip.

NO other changes. Of course the 3" MAF is back in now.

Same timing, same boost, same WOT WB readings in the low 11.x's

I hit just over 90% with the 50's how can I also be at the same DC with 20% more fuel?

I expected the injector DC to go down to under 80%.

As it relates to the Fuel pump. It is only a couple years old 255 Walpro w a hot wire kit?

Dont see how it could be shot already.

I will hook up a fuel pressure gauge and drive it while watching at WOT.
