Well, we signed the papers, so it's about as official as it can get.
DKJM Turbo Racing is moving to Knoxville TN!!
Actually Sevierville to be exact. Having a house built new, on 1.5 acres.

Well, The DK part is moving ;) The JM part is still stuck in Ann Arbor MI :(

Hey Dave do you guys do anything with cars other then TR's???

I know some of the rather quick street crowd in that area.

highperformancetoys.com

Almost everybody on this site is in that area...Some good people, look up 6seclt1, his name is Kev and he's a friend of mine...he knows and respects TR's also.

I've heard of that site. I'll have to look into it. Thanks.

Is that the same town where the muscle car museum is located? Just up the road from Gatlingburg.

I believe so, although I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

Floyd Garrett's place... been lucky enough to have gone through it twice. Bring plenty of Kleenex!

Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are CAR HEAVEN!! There are more car shows, Rod Runs, and meets than you could ever imagine..
A car lover's paradise.. Not to mention Bristol just a short drive away..

Congrats..!!

Cool. Gotta make a trip down there next month to decide on the house's final placement on the lot, and a few other minor details.

So Dave:

Each year you move 1/4 further east. Figure next year you'll be on the east coast. If ya make it to Joisy, get in toch, we'll go out on the town and shoot the **** :-p

Things are finally starting to move. We accepted an offer on our house today. Guess I'll have to try and figure out how to sell the snow blower attachment for my lawn tractor. Sure wont need that thing where I'm going.

You don't think it snows in Tenn????

I didn't say it doesn't snow there. Just not enough to justify dragging a 44" wide, very heavy snowblower attachment along on the move. Yes, I know it does. But in that particular part, a 6" snowfall is exremely rare, and brings everything to a halt anyway. Most snowfalls are few and far between (and no road salt) and only amount to a couple inches, and dont hang around long either. This from friends and family members who've spent a several years at a time there.
