I love those early '70s TA's..but now I'm looking at a '69 TA convertible clone..they only made 8 real ones and the one I've found is a true RamAir III car, so its got some value being that most RAIII are selling for 20-30K more than this ones asking price.
Beautiful car Bryan, at least you can be proud of what came of your car. If I had it to do over again, I would have bought a early 70's 455 HD car instead of the 10th.

Does anyone else have a story out there, that they kicked themselves in the butt for selling a car that they should have kept.
I purchased this 1970 ta in jezzz, 1994 or 1995 ish, id have to go back and look. It was in a slave house somewhere in missouri Im not kidding!

The current owner went thru alot getting it restored and put back together.
I sold it to him as a rolling chassis, and yes the car is a original blue on blue 4 speed 12bolt car:redface:

Im thinking i shouldnt have ever sold it, but then again, i wouldnt have had the time to restore it as nice as he did.

no one has a story worse than me,maybe?when i got my first rented house i had a 70 or 73? t.a,it was originally gold with a ton of custom stripes and had a sister corvette painted like a twin,i mean alot of custom colors and stripes,i got it with a settlement and painted it white,added the ram air hood(it had the shaker?dumb move),pulled the motor and added a cam and forgot to reinstall the thing that pumps the fuel,and it wouldnt start...i was young,this was like 16 years ago?..so i let it sit while i was working and paying bills threw the winter/snow bird season...well i made enough to buy a house and moved,but told the lady that i paid rent to that i would pick the car up in one week,if it was o.k(bad mistake)as i needed to get things situated and make room in the garage....
well i went to get it and i guess someone broke in and trashed the place(very bad area,wasnt me)and the owner had my car towed somewhere and illegally withheld it untill i pay for the damage ...........well me not knowing the law,i never got it back now everytime i see one of these cars i get sick at how if i added a electric fuel pump and just took it with me,id still have it.......o well one day ill get another....
