I made a few WOT blast and noticed some knock during the runs. WB numbers looks ok. Timing was 21* in the first 2 runs and lowered it to 18* on the last run, to see if it made a difference; no difference. I did notice TPS voltage low at the beginning of one of the runs where knock occurs...Just looking for some feed back. Im running Erics 5.6 chip with razors dual alky.

You're running way too rich (7:1)! I'd back off the Alky a couple of notches. There is such a thing as rich knock.

7:1; I didnt see anywhere on that file a A/F that rich during WOT. I dont even think the WB will even read that rich....

I rechecked and you AFR takes a serious dive into the 7's at the following spots:
Log 1 around frame 505
Log 2 around frame 1060
Log 3 around frame 1170

Or am I missing something here???

Do you have the correct WB selected on your F3 page? You have to select what he's using, not what you're using.

So I was missing something! Learned something new, just don't know the wideband.

Thanks

Wide Band is PLX

Much better! Still looks a tad on the rich side 10.2's, should be around 10.8, so I still suggest you make it a little leaner. I'd drop the boost a couple of lbs and see if the knock still presists. Looks like the profile of real knock to me and not false knock.

Just my .02 worth

Yeah Im going to turn the boost down a few lbs and see if the knock goes away. Boost is kinda unsteady from 23 lbs spiking to 27 lbs....

I dont think going leaner at this point would help me as i dont think im to rich to cause rich knock...then again i could be wrong?

It's surprised me a time or two by leaning it out a hair and watching the knock go away. Defintely start by reducing boost.

Really would like some more feed back on these runs

What kind of wide band are you using? If your not using a wide band then your a/f results at your hp level are pretty much useless........

I'm not so sure that your knock is false. It seems to occur in conjuction with your boost approaching or hitting 28#. Try reducing the boost a few # and see what happens.

I havnt had a chance to turn the boost down yet, but just something i was thinking....

Considering the somewhat rich AFR, at the point of knock, what else would cause knock other than lack of fuel, which obviously isnt the case here. Im running a Reds DP, 80lb injectors, dual alky, Erics 5.6 chip.

Now i know guys with the same set up on one nozzle pushing 30+ lbs of boost.

Just trying to find the reason why its knocking....

I'm definitely not going to claim myself as an expert on this subject, but I'll hazard a guess that in a rich condition not all the fuel is ignited and there's some residual left over. Then comes along the waste spark and BAM you get another ignition in the cylinder.
