Just got some g body t type 15x9 with a 4 1/2-5/8" backspace.
Going to go with stockers in front with a 235 60 15
I dunno about the rear though, want good hooking tire but don't wanna roll the fenders
Thinking 255 60 15 or 275 60 15
What you guys think?
Thank

275/15/60's fit on my car with 8" rims and 4.5" bs, but they are very close to the frame. I have aluminum drums which puts the tire 1/8" closer to the wheel well vs the stock steel drum. I have plenty of clearance between the tire and wheel well. My brother runs 255 drag radials and his car hooks well. He has around 450whp. Better chance of clearance if you go with the 255's in my opinion though

I have m/t's 275/60/15 on stock rims and when launching I get rubbing, so I have to add 1/4" spacers on mine....so 255/60 fit better with no worries as I have tried both tire sizes
