Need info on Home security systems!

If there was alot of valuable items left untouched the first time, then they may be coming back soon... This has happened to me, took only the small stuff they could carry in a bag the first time, came back about 2 weeks later and had cleaned us out, luckily I came home early that day and when I opened the front door, they took off through the back and all of our stuff was left in a huge pile at the back door before they could get it out....appearently they had a vehicle parked out back in some apartments behind us at the time. I was young in middle school back then...today would be a different story as both my wife and I have a CHL and carry at all times.

I just heard they hit two more local places this weekend. They are still In the area. Foolish this time I think.

This is my concern.
I have a LOT of $$$ artwork and electronics in the house and I'm worried that they'll be back after they think I have replaced the stuff they stole the first time..
The Cameras won't be in place quickly but I now have the wireless alarm system and fax switcher on order so if I can get that installed before the next heist I'll have a better chance.
The artwork is probably safe b/c it's too large to carry plus nobody cares for artwork but they could destroy it and really make a mess of the house if they wanted too.

Agree, wireless cameras suck, I had one and got rid of it, wired and as they said web cam is the way to go, you get notified and you could always view , what the heck is happening. Just my 2 cents
