The oil system isn't that bad. 20 something years later and there are tons of stockish cars that have never been opened up with great oil pressure.

that actually looks like a good thing. it appears to be modded for use with stock high resistance or aftermarket low resistance injectors.

I had a performance chip of unknown origin when I bought my car. I decided to exchange it for a Turbo Tweek chip just so I'd know what I have. You may want to consider doing the same.

The safest thing to do is to is to complete the converter swap, etc. and email TurboTweak with every thing in your combination, including what octane fuel and how much boost you plan to operate the car. Also if you plan on running alky, it is a no brainer to use the alkycontrol kit from Julio Don in combination with the custom TurboTweak chip.
