That's a nice looking forum but I have to ask why? With this site, the gnttype.org forums, t6p.com, turbobuick$.com and the GSCA board, why have yet another turbo Buick message board?

Too many tends to fragment the community and who possibly has enough free time to surf them all?

Your kidding right? You must have not owned a turbo buick for long. I've owned mine for a year and you can NEVER get enough information, help, and advise, on these cars like you can on all the boards. These boards have made owning my car a pleasure because you have people that will help you and enjoy it. The little I know I try to share anytime I can. I've posted on all the boards at one time about different issues and got all kinda different answers back. But one of them usually works! So if I only posted on one board my car would not be running like it does today! Not to put this board down in any way shape or form, but I've posted here and not even got one response on my issue at the time. But yet got a ton of answers from other boads.. information is power and keeps these old ass turbo Buicks on the road today! If you need the information.. you'll find the time to search all the boards for sure! Oh and also.. all these boards.. gives me something to do while I'm at work for 10 hours a day!

Philly-it was woth the untimely death of your tires, burnouts are good! BTW what kind of radio do you have in your car? I know it's a late model GM, but whats it out of and what kind of wiring did you have to do to install it?

I have to agree.
Unfortunately, with people bickering like children, we will continue to have different "homes" for certain people.

Oh, I've only owned mine for 15 years.

As far as getting enough information, it just becomes more of a PITA to have to search and post on 3, 4 or more message boards to get an answer. More boards don't necessarily mean more people. It's mostly the same folks spread out out amongst all these forums.

 I know people on this board.. who will not even look at the "other" boards and I know people on the "other" board who will never look on this board.. So in the long run.. if you want several ideas on something it pays to take the 10 mins to click a few links and do a search or post. Then with the e-mail response you never have to look at the board again.. just wait til the e-mail comes in. Kinda very simple for me. So trust me.. it's far from the same folks on the same boards. Yes allot of them come on and post but from what I've found from talking to people in person with turbo Buicks then only seem to hang on one board at a time. Maybe you need cable modem :D :p

yes I just bought a new set of tires and put them on my old GN rims for some fun. I got my Nitto's and I've never done a burn out on them yet! Tryin to keep them virgin for as long as I can because I know once I do one burn out on them it will never stop til they are done! :)
The radio is out of a 03 malibu. No wiring. Go to a radio store or Circuit City and tell them you have an 87 and want to go to a newer radio. They will sell you 2 adapeters to take you from the old to the new pin out. ALSO get a antena adapter. The newer radios the antena plug is smaller. A radio shop or CC should also have that adapeter. Some bending of the brakets on the radio and it's in. I think it took me 15 mins to take the old one and and install that one. I wanted a CD player with that "GM" look. Go on ebay and do a search for GM CD RADIO and plenty will show up. Make sure the lock code is not on and you should be fine. They run from around 100 to 150 if you keep an eye on them for awhile and snag one. Hope that answers your questions and goos luck!!

Check junk yards for those delcos. Some have them they are ready to throw away

Yea, what meanbuicks said,

But I've owned my original car for for 17.5 years and have owned 21 other TR's, tta's and GNX's over the years. :)

I have to say I think he already knows them in and out and is bored.Greg is usually doing more answering than asking from what I recall. His point of view is going to be different than the inexperienced no doubt.I also wondered what the need would be but though not necessary I do think it might help some and who knows 5 years from today it could be the only board,$hizz happens..:)
