True. Have we determined that the generator that you have is the same one that RIFF RAFF and LEGACY_GN have. Did you purchase it from Kirban?

I have the powermaster alt, not the Kirban one.

no.[edit] i didnt buy mine. i rebuilt what was on the car . so i do not know if it was from kirbans .but the car did come from philly .so never know .

When you rebuilt it,did you replace the voltage regulator?

Before you go sending the alternator back, try a known good battery and recheck your voltage levels.
