hey guys, new member here  so...I've admired the great GN's and Turbo Buicks for the past 2 years now, ever since my dad told me about them. Even though many people my age don't know about them and of those that do, many don't respect them. Ever since seeing one, i researched their history and the Grand National instantly became my dream car i respect those cars as the great machines they are, unfourtunetly i wasn't alive during their prime years (im only 17) but i've always been into the classic muscle cars and great American cars of the past, i personally don't have a taste for anything made in recent years...anyway, while searching for my first car, me and my dad were looking for some cool old cars that would be a good buy for my first car...well the Grand National never left the back of my head, but i figured that i would never get a chance to own such an amazing car since many were out of our price range and those that were a low enough price needed too much work...well my dad surprised me with news of a GN for sale that his cousin's friend was selling and when he went to look at it, he was impressed with the condition of the car as well as the price, to make a long story short (too late for that eh?) my dad bought the car and my dream came true, i am now the proud owner of an 87 GN and I'm here hoping to fit in with all of you guys currently part of the turbo Buick community.
