Being direct & then stated he lied? Give me a break!
Ask vendors on this board about us paying bills.
I'm able to stay in business with almost every vendor on this board & off & that is not by not paying my bills.
Ask how many small vendors how many free products we send with out payment until they sell.

Oh, he is shady, baby steps, baby steps....

If I ever have to sell my car, I can show the potential buyer receipts and people vouching for the quality of the pieces, I am afraid that a lot of new buyers are going to be duped into "Oh yeah, those are T/A, Terry Houston, ATR, or Gbodyparts.com parts, no corners were cut............" in the future. :(

The PTE stocker is still the best (IMO) from a great company & longstanding members! Sure they are (mostly if not completely) made in the USA! You get what you pay for & mine FITS PERFECT!!!! Period!!

This is alot better then the political forum:D

Although new to the T6 world ive got 20 years in chevys and I know it takes alot of dough to get into the 10's and beyond, things break and ya got to have money to back it up so why trip over dollars to pick up dimes?

Now ive looked at those headers that were on here and said to myself ok 300 some odd dollars vs 700 er whatever I can save X amount for other goodies. Ive read the headers had some issues, trying to work the bugs out, Ive seen the pics on inside, the pics where this dont line up , the clock is off etc, Factor in my labor cost in time of retro fitting, modifing, and its not worth it to me, Although someone is just trying to help bring cost down in this small market, Jegs carrys nothing, Summit carrys nothing.
I can get chevy headers in all shapes and sizes for 150 to 500 all day long, heck tri-y's...no problem come on down oh but wait most all hooker products are now made in mexico.

With this intercooler, how much am I really saving if I have to remove it to refab or to fix bad weld due to impurities. But even if it were the cats a$$ I see this infomercial type thread like hey fellas i was a bit skeptical at first but after buying this really neato..blah blah, Then see the big cheese start putting two and two together, this guys one and the same, and I dont care for shady actors with multiple alias's trying to weasle me.

At this point if it was free id say no thanks, i'll save up for an RJC or G-body

No weasles allowed!

Enjoy your vacation.

Ok if Archie got this IC from my supplier why is it different? Bad copy but I have a few pics of a unit we are sending out for Mark Hueffman today.

Notice the rounded edges? Notice the different hoses etc...
The cover he produced will not seat the cover flush. Ours is fully adjustable.
His top is squared off. Archie call MArk maybe you can put GN-1 performance on it with the same little # plaque.
Sod carries my Stock location Intercooler. The original 23 row bar & plate.

Notice our Dump pipe? I Archie was selling them on e-bay but guys were getting caps with only 2 bolts.

Pics are worth a Thousand words so have at it. Make sure when you cut & paste this thread to include these pics.

AS far as copying. PTE unit is a knock off of a Mease unit plain & simple.
Don't believe it look it up & see what came first.
We did not copy PTE.

all this time i thought the g-body parts intercooler was american made. Now two people are selling the same chinese made intercooler from the same manufacturer and calling each other copycats. its a stock location intercooler! they all look similar! GM should sue all of you for copying their idea!

The PTE unit and the Mease arent the same. In fact, the PTE unit IS different than all the others. The first guy to do these things was the dude at Action Fabrication. I forget his name. For some reason, Bob Sims is stuck in my head but I dont think that was him.

Him and Mark Jackson started doing them about the same time. I dont know exactly who came first.

Actually, I think Buick might have build some sort of stock location intercooler.;) ;) And to tell you the truth, I'm not even sure it was there idea!

I was refering to the stretch stock location intercoolers. Seeings as how there's probably only about 20 guys left from that era tho, I wouldnt really expect most people to know the history behind where most of these parts came from.

Bob Sims / Action Fab was the first guy who made them. I sent him the cores and we talked on the phone about how to do it. He made a couple different prototypes, we tested them and started selling the one we liked. Guess who used to work there, Keith Mease. Mark Jackson was a couple years later

ABSOLUTELY!!!
I'll never for the life of me figure out the rush to buy all this chinese crap in the first place just to save a bunch of coin. If it's just because of a budget thing, or you can't afford good quality stuff, then take a lesson from me. (If I can't afford name brand and high quality, I just do without until I get the coin together, it's that simple. Come on folks, get a life, don't flush our economy down the crapper for your own selfish reasoning). Especially in light of the fact they've declared open warfare on our economy!
The reason I'll never knowingly buy or support any product that comes out of china.
I could go no forever on this but won't belabor the point. You people that enjoy supporting that crap, good for you. I sincerely hope you get what's coming down the line.
God forbid your favorite dog or cat dies because of the poisons placed in their food.
God forbid you, your spouse or child gets sick or dies from the poisons that they've been placing in the beef they've sent us.
Or the lead in the toys.
Hopefully the substandard crap that everybody feels the need to buy wont come back to haunt them in some way, later down the road.

I'll also support the known great vendors that continue to "invent" to keep our beloved vehicles going. Even though some of them are selling some chinese stuff, I'll support their inovative new products that they choose to have designed, proven (you wont get this with chinese junk), built here.

What I wont support are those that are choosing to support china by buying/selling strictly those products. We all know who those are.

Last point, I hear it in this thread and many others. "Well I've seen product xxxx and it looks like good high quality craftsmanship". You're laying eyeballs on something proves NOTHING! You can't see the quality of materials, hidden workmanship, etc. Your eyeballs tell you nothing of the nature of materials used.
That's why I pressed so hard for someone to post pictures looking up inside the chinese made passenger side headers. The incredibly crude holes made for the #5 cylinder to dump into the main log should speak volumes!! Even after they were "suposidly" fixed, it still looked like crap, and much smaller than the tube welded around it. Unbelievable.

Sorry, down off my soapbox now.

Don't you work on cell phone stuff for a living...

Aren't they mostly made in China....

People are so anti-China but the truth is not one person on this thread goes thru their day without using something made in China.

I love America, but as a Nation ,we pay people to sit at home and do NOTHING and then complain when Nations whose people will work for less start importing products. (At the request of Americans)

Does China have welfare and food stamps?

If the people who COULD work in America DID work in America this might be a moot issue.

The truth is...if all the stuff made in China was uselessly inferior, nobody would buy it.

I have bought quality and crap.... from America and China.

You guys are gonna go crazy with this China bs. I tried looking for toys for my 6 month old son that was not made in China and from Target, to Macy's to Babys R Us everything was made in China. But I finally found one that the box said. "Assemblied in US with foreign and domestic parts" Get home and open it up. Everything had a sticker that said Made in China. As you sit there reading this or typing pick up your mouse, keyboard what ever you have around and flip it upside down. Where is it made? I bet you 9 out of 10 things are made in China!
mines made in Canada

If you have any questions regarding my identity, you can call me at 562-353-0315, I will be @ work until 2.30am please call in the afternoon.
Thanks!

Finally admits on publicly it was him, nice:rolleyes:

Why does everyone bring up the "copy" word all the time? Wasn't there a earlier version of this style of intercooler also before BWeavy was even a vendor?

Also, why does everyone bring up the engine girdle as being copied when there was a earlier verson for sale BEFORE RJC was selling his style?

Bunch of PMS going on around here.

Just to clarify, Admin's only problem here is the shady practices going on. Double, triple, sometimes quadruple personalities promoting products. I don't care what those products are! It is wrong, then when busted they create false claims against admin and me. It is really a hard pill to take, you try to do good and only get kicked for it.....

.

Yes I do, but that doesn't mean I have to buy a "made in china" phone. Mine was made in Japan, where technology actually means something.

Yes, we're forced to use chinese stuff, but I choose to not buy it unless it's absolutely necessary.

There are very few countries in the world that have openly attested to doing whatever is needed to ruin the U.S. economy in an effort to claim our place as one of the premier indutrial and technological world economies.

Yes, we're in a world economy. It's just that I choose to not support such incredibly anti human rights economies such as china. There are others, but they're not in this discussion.

If you choose to support such a country, fine, do as you please and reap your rewards down the line.

china simply sucks, I really don't care if anyone disagrees with me.

I'll continue to buy my goods from America and MANY other free world economies for that matter.

So the conclusion is what cuz I'm not sure???????????
Brians intercooler is made in the USA or its not???

I guess at this particular point, Does it really matter? I think he's a very stand up guy and he gives you a 100% completely satisfied guarantee! So if it bust, he'll replace it... Who cares where it's from... What matters is if you have someone that will stand behind there product! - That's the most important thing! There are some companies here in the US and China that won't do that... We're very fortunate atleast he does!

I couldn't remember Bob's name either. I knew he sold the business to Keith.
