Get another friend that one isn't normal.

Or post some gauge numbers for F.Pressure and some details.

Stupid question is there a priming pump on a gn cause when he turns on the ley before he starts the engine i here a sort of a pump in the back of the engine??? But like i said i am amateur when it comes to gn just starting out!

If it's not a heavilly modified GN it only has one pump. And they absolutely will not run without a pump running.

So what could make the engine flood right away?

Are you unplugging the pump at the tank, or unplugging the fuel pump relay under the hood?

At the tank in the back of the bumper!

Does the car have ALKY?? See if the test button is pushed in...

Also, there are 2 connections behind the alternator, one is for a tach signal, the other is the test tap for the fuel pump. DO NOT connect these together.

Bingo!

But, if they unplug the connector back at the rear bumper it still shouldn't be able to run even with those two connectors hooked to each other.

Sounds like it is a double pumper set up. With one pump running all is well. With the second pump running the return line is overwhelmed and the fuel pressure skyrockets. The result is that the engine floods.

Stock, the fuel pump runs for about 3 seconds when you turn the car on, not to the start position. Of course it wont run at all without a pump.
