As the title states I do not have any power at my ignition ports under dash in fuse panel...caspers knock gauge power wire touched the ground wire for a spark....no problems with anything just hoping its a simplefix cause I hate electrical anything

you are checking this with the key on, correct?
those terminals get power from one of the fuses- check that they are all good..

Lots of wires etc down there I really don't like to be around any idea which fuse? I checked a couple that I thought sounded like what could have been blown but no luck so far

Check the fusable links on the starter also. I believe there are three..... should have 12 volts on both sides of the link

The starter is still engaging but if you say there is three I guess that wouldnt mean much right? Thanks for a place to check! I will look when I get home to the "baby".

check the seat belt /acc fuse 20A

the ports should have power with key in run position as the power to those ports has to run through the ignition switch

theres three fusible links at the starter

one splits and feeds the coolant fans not ign (link e).

one runs the headlamps ( link B), and fuses for instrument panel dash lighting, cig lighter/clock, and tail lamps

the third fusble link (link A) feeds everything else including fan relays pw, pdl, horn, wipers ,radio etc

theres one more fusible link at the battery orange wire but thats for the ecm only

so if you suspect fusible link as youve been told in above posts it could only be link A ... but if you have any power any where else in car like the power windows , radio horn and wipers then you have a good fusible link A so you can forget about climbing under the car

so with the fusible link eliminated unless theres damage to the fuse block from water or hacked wires under the dash going to the ignition switch my guess would be the ignition switch contact burnt , replace the ignition switch

you have to drop the column down to get at it , its a metal jacket white block with two milti wire connectors , a black and a blue connector and you have to pull one out before the other will come out

wow lots of good advise! As I said though there is no other symptoms of anything being wrong...car starts runs drives boosts all lights all windows are working etc....if it is the contact switch at the ignition would the car still start?

crank yes ..start and run no
you posted starter is engaging you didnt say the car was running

i assumed you had checked the fuses as you posted you had done and that was eliminated as the problem .. but rereading your second post i guess you didnt check them enough
did you check the seat/ acc fuse 20A
better yet ill put it this way ... just replace the seat/acc fuse and you should be good to go
its direcly below the ign ports with the fuse leg of the fuse inline with the ign ports

Will do sir! Thanks so much for all your guys help I will post up when I replace that fuse and check back with yall later this evening :D

Did you answer the question - checking the ignition power sources with the KEY ON?

I may have missed your answer.

pacecarta is correct. The ST BLT/ACC fuse is the one that feeds the IGN ports on the left side of the fuse panel.

Fusable link A is the source of power, but I don't think that is the problem because link A feeds a whole bunch of other fuses, 8 in all.
