if i have .02 th of rod side clearance would it sound like some bad rod bearings?

I do not have the specs in front of me but if I had to guess that sounds a little tight but should not cause a rod knock sound.

Did you measure correctly for bearing size, if so how did you measure and what was the size? Are you stock or over?

The max is .015 But i thought that .02 would be fine, since you cant put material back in,or on the crank. So i finished the rebuild and started it up and i can hear the bottom, sounds like a solid lifter cam or something in that nature,I had the crank turned .010 and plasigauged everything,everything was in spec. but not the rod side clearence. i was just wondering would that make a low knocking sound. thanks for any help.
