ok, ecu gn inj duty cycle question

ok, so i list the build ,
built 109, everything you can do except stroke it, good rods, crank , pistons, fresh bearings and gapless rings from last year...
.gn1 alum port heads, champion port intaked etc etc, ecu gn, good tune!, 6262 bb precsion ,
car runs like an animal, this motor in 09 went 9.70 at gs nats, with 70 gtq in my drag car,
motor is now in my daughters limited
96 % INJ duty cycle tonight @ a pull of 24.4 lbs of boost with 120's and e85 with hellcat pump the 525 pump with hot wire and volt booster...,

i have 6466 to put on it, but in the cold its really getting close,,, raise the FP? its at 43lbs....

The 62mm compressor can certainly support 9 sec power and 135mph+. The 120’s and the Hellcat pump can too but it’s all gonna be maxed out to the limit.
Do you have a fuel pressure sensor on it connected to the ecu?

My car ran better at 49psi base FP but might not help the high duty cycle .

i have not done the transducer yet for fuel, i have the transducer, just havent done it yet with the projects i have going on. my daughter is finally 16 and she wants to drive it more... just want to have the motor in the safest place possible, not looking to break any records just get a buick quick and reliable as possible , funny huh....the last statement...

Depends on the fuel pressure and what the pump is doing. The 525Lph pump is a pretty good match to the 120’s.

Change ethanol content level, mix it, I'd start at E70 and make a pull. Really safe at your current psi and whatever timing.

What's max boost gonna be?
I don't run E85 if curious, E77 max and honestly it would be lower if I was seeing IDC like that and 25psi with say 18 degrees. I wouldn't hesitate to run E60 personally from experience.

For over a decade now I run my Talon at E50 with 28psi and 17 degrees without any issue and a crappy FMIC. There are tests that showed E50 etc was almost as effective as E85 in the detonation area. Not saying to do that, it's your car, but E85 requires more volume vs E70 etc.

A 6262 turbo turbo cannot move enough air to max out 120lb injectors even on e85.
Your duty cycle should be much lower
Need to find out why it's not
I would raise fuel pressure and see where the duty cycle goes.
If that doesnt fix the chase begins.
Lines, rails,better pump etc.
Your duty cycle I've seen on 120s and e85 with a 64 turbo all in at 37psi on a very good build just to give you an idea.

Raise the fuel pressure you dont have enough turbo for the you injectors you have now
Start at 50 and work from there.
Look at fuel pressure and make sure the pressure doesnt start to fall off as you raise boost or at your current boost level of 24.
Your turbo will hit backpressure long before the 120s are maxed.
You should see duty cycle drop after you raise pressure
That is the behavior if the fuel system is good.

The fuel pressure safety in the ECUGN is a beautiful thing. I like to set it relatively tight. Allow only a 4.5 or 5 psi pressure error for 0.1sec. If your fuel pressure signal is very noisy due to pulses in the fuel rail you can smooth it out with a pressure snubber or a fuel rail damper. Autometer sells a 1/8"npt snubber that's pretty good.

the ethanol here in clarksville tn/fort campbell, near BG has regularly tested @ e85 to e90 most of the time, more closer to the e90, from the pump,
i have the racetronix lines and full racetronix in the tank, ill turn the pressure up to 50 and see where she goes, i wanted to get this figureed out before i put this bb 6466 on the car....thanks guys! ill mess with getting the transducer going...

I literally cannot get the boost over 25 on this car, maybe the heads? not a big enough turbo? i have the large rjc puck and ported the shit out of the wg hole...

Hit up Beatav8 for tuning help if needed, he's tuning mine and was the only reason I got ECUGN because there's a ton of Holley Tuners but he's local and got skills.

Maybe you over ported the puck, check out carbon ring around it to see if you're getting any leaks. I'll assume HD actuator and rod is tightened down.

You controlling boost via manual or solenoid?

Exhaust leaks and wastegate/puck issues are usual suspects if boost is lazy and won't go higher. But internet DR isn't always the best vs real experienced pro so you might need some in person help here after you test the spaghetti against the wall. Good luck and remember...

Lengthening the lever arm on the wastegate might help there. Gives the actuator more leverage to control the gate. Especially when the puck is large with lots of surface area.
