Hey Guys,
I have always liked the factory T wheels. I like them just glassbeaded bare, but was trying to find someone who has polished a set to look chrome. Has anyone ever done it? If you have any pics, please post. I looked thru the entire wheel thread and notta!

Im thinking 8.5 Vectors in the rear with the factory 7's in the front.

Thanks

Joe Derry has Cotton's old set that was polished. Joe's video is around here somewhere. It's the video of him driving to NED, running some high 9s and then driving home.

I did it a little different, Polished the ribs and let the cast stay asis

You actually hit the nail directly on the head. I want to polish the ribs and the ring around the lug center, and then the complete outside lip. Use chrome lugs and do the black Tri-shield centers on chrome caps. The spray the cast areas the body color of the car. I see the GNX wheels being done the body color all the time, but never these. I love to be different.

Thanks for the help guys.

The 85 GN's were actually body colored. And going body colored on the rough cast part will be easier. It's a PITA to get the polishing mud out of the cast parts.Befrend a local powder coater and let him do the clear and body color.

And I actually wound up with something different after I lost a center cap. Brian Weaver made me up a set of Centercaps with the medallions off an older regal (the were in red white and blue)

Well my body color is going to be 2002 Cadillac Pearl and the ribs and ring will be mirror polished. The entire build is sorta being done in secret. I plan on posting all the photos after it makes its 1st show appearance. Now, this is still a little ways off. Ive been collecting parts for quite a while, but my better half keeps spending more $$$ then me.:(

Thanks. KevinW25645 has them on his 84. Thats where I got the idea to do color, but the body color of a T, not GN.

:D
