So I was looking at the new Challenger concept and had a thought. When they designed the Challenger they actually took a 1970 Challenger into to design studio, and I think the result is faithful to the original. And IMO far and away the best looking new car in the last 10-15 years.

But back to my thought:
We all know GM is going to heck in a handbasket cause they don't do any market research. But what if they decided to build a modern rendition of the the GN or GNX? They still have plenty of 3800 Series III motors in the parts bin, and I was told by a GM employee that they had one of those up to 900 hp in a test car. The Cadillac CTS platform with it's RWD configuration would be adaptable. So, if Buick decided (I know they never will) to make a turbo 3800 (maybe twin), RWD, 6-speed AUTO (maybe trans-axle), 2-door that was as faithful to the original GN as the Challenger concept is to the the 1970, you think it would sell?
