These stickers have been on my 1984 T-type since it came from the dealership when it was brand new. I am painting the car now and restoring it as much as I can back to original, plus a few performance upgrades. I want to eventually tint the windows since I live in Florida. Is it worth keeping these stickers on there for any reasons. Kinda impressed my my Grandmother who was original owner never took them off. What do you guys think?

i think it had something to so with the olympics that year my 84 na regal has the top one on it still

Thank yall, just wanna a couple of opinions on it. I'll guess i'll leave them there. Not really hurtin' anything .

If they were on the paint I suppose it would be a different story but on the glass? I think It's kind of interesting and maybe with some research you can get more info on why they were placed there...

Lots of oddball stuff out there...:p

I'd leave them on!

In 1984 Buick was a sponsor for the Olympics. I would keep the stickers on there. It adds a nice original touch to the car.

The "thermo guard" sticker isn't window tint. It was some kind of paint protector they put on it, not sure if dealership or not. Anyway it wasn't all what they thought it was. The paint was crap on the car two years off the show room floor and the dealership had to front a paint job. Which needless to say was done crappy and only lasted another two years. Now, its getting a full restortaion and full paint. As far as the tinitng the windows: There is no tint on the windows as of now and i live in florida so its kinda needed. I post some pics of the paperwork on that "thermo guard" and any input on it would be helpfull. Such as if it was a dealer option or GM deal.

"Thermo Guard" Stuff

I loked over the stuff and come to realize it must be some dealer sold crap. Looks like they conned my grandmother in to the seat protector too. Gues how that stuff faired. Seats have been redone twice now. ANyway take a look.
