After years of storing parts from many engine builds and rebuilds, it is time to clear the shelves at Zimmerman Racing. :)

Much of this is extras as well as spare parts from customer's builds and/or freshens. Pricing of these used parts is below less than 1/2 of new cost. So please do not expect to "negotiate" with the prices unless you purchase multiple items.

This is NOT distress or junk merchandise, so we will be fair, but rather firm.

Please do NOT PM as there can be up to a week for response, and pics cannot be sent there if wanted.

Here is a list of parts:

Cranks:

5 - stock stroke standard, all need to be cleaned up to 0.010" - $250 each.

1- turned and polished to 0.010 - $350.

1 Eagle stock stroke forged new for external balance [stock] - $850

Pistons:

All are used and in good shape

12 used stock w/rods installed - $10 each

6 TRW 0.040" over w/stock rods - $325

6 CP 3.900" for 3.625" stroke, HD pins Eagle rods - $600

6 CP 3.970" for 3.625" stroke, HD pins K-1 rods - $600

Heads:

1 set Champion 14 bolt heads, heavy ported, no valves or springs - $550.

14 stock, used heads $25 each

Blocks - 109's:

Fully machined for 0.030" pistons, and 2 center steel caps installed - $1500

Fully machined for 0.040" pistons - $1000

ARP rod bolts for stock rods:

1 new set - $60

1 used set - $40

[Prices do NOT include shipping and insurance.}

Leaving for the track in a few minutes, will send the head pic tomorrow, thanks.

Head info & pic

These heads were done a few years ago, and they are off a 9 sec. GN and were replaced with the race version GN-1R heads. The flow is ~265 CFM @.500 lift.

More than twice the $$$$ were spent on porting work than the current asking price of the bare heads! :D

These champion heads I bought have cracks in 5 of the 6 chambers. I was told "being used aluminum heads you should have known they would be cracked". heads were sent back. now I'm fighting to get all my money back!!! Be cautious!!!

Even if you did not know that alum heads are prone to crack between the valves, this is very common and presents NO problem as it is not into an area where there is water.

Mine, and many other heads have made hundreds of runs with these minor cracks. If these were in a critical area, they would have been repaired or scrapped.

Also, let's be a little more accurate here, you money WAS refunded on the heads. You freaked when you saw the cracks and right away, without checking with anyone if this is serious or minor, cried for a refund.

The owner of the heads said no problem, send them back. He never intended, or stated, he would refund your shipping costs. Had you been a little more civil or understanding, he may have considered working with you on the shipping.

Nick, the heads are cracked from the intake seats to the plug holes, and up the holes. As far as the refund, you still owe me $50, not to mention the $32 I paid you to ship them, and the the $37 I paid to send them back. If you would have put on the post "heads are cracked" we could have avoided this mess. I guess since this is "my fault" as you stated in the email to me, I should just eat the $70 for shipping?

Note to self: NEVER BUY USED ALUMINUM HEADS SINCE THEY ARE MOST LIKELY CRACKED...
