Glad to share. I'm glad everyone likes the pics.
The car is really cool to just sit and look at. And the owner is a really cool, very knowledgable guy. Back in the day he had a white Turbo T that was his race car. Also, he would get as many GNs as he could in his dealership, He would even transfer all of them in he could from other dealers. He sold and installed tons of mods when other dealers wouldn't touch them because of warranty BS. He even warrantied mildly modded cars, especially if the installs were done in his service dept.
Getting this car wasn't easy for him. He pestered people from his local Buick rep all the way to the top of the heap. Finally, he was given the green light to get "the last GN available to the public". The actual "last built" car was supposed to go to an employee who won an in-house raffle at the plant. But at the last minute, the plant manager, who controlled what car was to be built last, made sure Bob's car was, in fact, the last one built.
As the car went down the line, in different stages, you would hear applause one minute, followed by tears and crying the next. It was an extremely emotional day and at the end of the day, this car represents much of the history that place made.
I am going to stay in contact with the owner. Hopefully one of these days I can catch the car when it's out of it's bedroom and get some good pics of it on some pavement.
Thanks again to all for the positive thread reponse!
