Or he did a Steve and staged in second after his burn out then went from foot brake to set the trans brake and let off the foot brake and the car just goes. Not happy when I have a brain fart. That is why I try for neutral and rev then put in 1st.

I agree absolutely. I could easily become a fan of the show with that format. The old Pinks show just makes me sick with all the deceit and lying. And how inaccurate is that, negotiating for car lenghts. Please.

Cause I think that Radical Christian Woman with the 62 Ford may have beat him anyways....

I don't like to think so and pardon me for saying, but when I seen her take it all - Plus that truck just was plain fast, and she seemed to be a pretty darn good driver! I listened to that truck on our surround sound, and that thing sounded plain wicked.

I saw that GN that rolled out of the lights for sale on ebay earlier this week for a buy it now price of $38,000 He was promoting it pretty heavy that it was on Pinks and from the sound of his description I thought he had won.

All in all a great episode and even though both TR's didnt win they got respect for being in the top 16 and showed the nation that low 10's are possible with these cars.

That 62 Ford truck was fast! Just think if that motor was in something not shaped like a brick and didnt weigh 60 tons!!!

Way I figure it, they said the truck weighed 3050 ( I think), and the GN had to weigh what 35-600 with the cage That is .5 off the e.t. right there. I would love to know what he had the boost set at on those 10.0 runs?
