And before anyone says it, I do have a line lock on the rear wheels, I set it during burnouts. Not sure why the lights are on unless the pedal just didn't come up all the way. :smile:
Anyways....if you notice on my launches, the tires have a tendency to squeal when I launch. On a few of the launches, yes I broke traction and didn't run a good time due to 60 ft.
However on my best passes, the 60 foots were in the 1.80's. Yet you can hear the tires squeal even when I launch and sometimes just shortly after launch.
Squealing tires equates to traction loss, right?
I had 20 psi in the M/T ET street radials that day. I was also foot braking on those launches.
Should I run a little less psi in the tires? Longer burnout? There should be no squeal...right?
LMK, planning on a last day of track day tomorrow. So I wanna get 'er right.
