poly trans mount

Prothane and Engery suspension don't have a listing. I know H&R has one but it's like $90

I bought the energy suspension mount from auto zone for $27 and I am going to fab a bracket out of 1/2" flat stock to adapt the universal mount to the trans.

Not sure who else sells them,but have heard of vibrations esp from trans mount.I believe H&R even states that in their catalog.

Sorry that the wrong trans mount, those are universal for most GM cars and will not fit the 2004r.

I tried the generic energy suspension one on my car. It can easily be rigged up to work but the problem comes in if you have the converter bracket installed also. I would either buy a stock replacement or go with the H@R piece.

I've been waiting for one of the vendors to come up with a much lighter weight tubular crossmember that utilizes the universal poly mount. Seems like a no brainer but nobody has stepped up.

So Energy doesn't make a "bolt on" tranny mount for our GN's?

The universal Energy Suspension mount will work if you use a trans crossmember from a V8/2004r G body such as a Monte SS. The V8 crossmember has the mount centered on the crossmember, the V6 one is offset.

I have one from HnR parts that I used for about 10 minutes. I bought a driveshaft loop from kirbans and it would rub on the shaft with the new tranny mount. So I put the old one back on and now I have a 95 dollar paperweight. If interested I would take 80 shipped. Let me know, Thanks, AJ
