What would be a reasonable price to have the wheels on an '87 turbo regal powder coated?

A guy in Nuevo,Ca did my rims for $50 ea, that was just clear powder coating.
rims were already cleaned and polished.

The $150 should cover everything and then some (like mounting and balancing).

If you pay more, you're being taken for a ride.

My powder coated charges $100 a wheel to regular customers. If there is no taping involved it might be cheaper.

these GNX wheels were powder coated and still look this way 8 yrs later.
these were just done last yr, (T Type)

I'd say between $100-$125 per wheel if it's a standard color.
Powder coating is great, holds up much better than paint. That's why our aluminum radiators and shrouds are powder coated instead of painted.

If you would, when you're all done do me a favor and let us know what it cost you in total from wheels and tires off to wheels and tires back on the car.

Thanks.

Several things can effect cost.........
If your coater has a house black that will work for you. ( if not he will have to order a min. amount.$$)
Do you want them mask to look as original or just all black
Do you want them clear coated also.
The material its self can range from $5 per lb. To $50 per lb. With 5 lb. min.

the wheels were polished in Upland ,ca. at $50 ea. ( AB Polishing, Benson av,)
then powder coated in Nuevo, ca at $50 ea. I'll have to get the name and address.
had 12 wheels done at one time, at both places, so may have affected the price.
