SignUp Now!Engine is a 3.995" bore 3.400" stroke production block 4.1 which is 256cid. Stall is undetermined, 2800-3000 stall is about my maximum for a street car. I might be going to a Switch Pitch SP400 so that has a possibility of of a higher stall. Headers are going to be modified at the crossover probably due to the hybrid chassis and I plan on running dual Deltagates aswell.
Thanks,
I don't know what the difference is on the $86.00 dollar water line kit. If they both are suppose to be $60.00 I will call tomorrow and find out. I dealt with Mike at PTE. Mike, could you verify the price?
Is a double BB 70GTQ available for the Buick?
No sir not at this time, the 67 P-Trim is the largest in the T-series we offer.

Can you adapt the 3 bolt housings from the T series to the 42R (70)? I would think the BB cartridge would be the same and the turbine housing would have to be machined?
The T series center sections are different than the GT series stuff.
Why not just run a 3 to 4 bolt adapter???
Sure you could do that and make a custon downpipe and intercooler piping.
Pete
Pete,
If you re clocked the turbo and used a longer hose couldn't you get away with the standard "type" piping? The down pipe would have to be extended though. =)
I would use the 67 P-trim BB on that combo, with the extra cubes it would spool really fast and make great power. You should be able to run low 12's at that weight at a moderate boost level!
Pete
Thanks for the recommendation, would you recommend this over a GT40R for streetability?
Thanks,
Yes and you can get the PT67 with the buick 3-bolt turbine housing![]()

Will the waterline kit work with the stock turbo shield? And does the lines hook on the thottle body lines?
The PT67 is going to out spool a GT40r? The 40r would really need a header system to take advantage of the duel scroll to work properly. The 40r is suppose to be one of the quickest spooling turbos of this size. I dont know I havnt run one which is why I ask because I would like to have a very responsive system that makes around 700 to 800hp. Thats kinda why I was leaning toward the 61, I would give up a little HP (which I dont really want to do) but would gain the response. If the 67 is this responsive maybe it is the turbo for me.
