I am considering changing injectors to 72 lb but there is a ecm conversion needed. And I have heard that you can run into drivability issues when that is done..Any input on this subject?? and If you have done it what if any differences have you noticed? T.I.A

i have had 72,s with a gtq71.then i have had 83,s also with a gtq76,you will have no problems what soever get a reds chip or get an extender for mike lite full throttle and never ever look back!!!don't know what turbo you are going with but it's safer to get larger injectors, plus if you ever get crazey with the turbo upgrading or whatever you won't have to get larger injectors.

Hey Tim, why dont you go with the 60lb Mototrons? Im running those on my Grand Prix and they are pretty easy to tune plus they are flow matched so the set you get pretty much flows the same.... and you dont have to re-program your ECM since the are high impedance. Should be plenty of fuel to run low 11's/ high 10's..... Im looking at getting another set for the GN so maybe we could get some sort of discount if we order together?...

Ran 72 Seimens, and 75 Delphi's. Delphis had much better drivability. As for Reds chips--they are all rich on the low end. Couldn't get his chips to work for me after I went larger than 55's. Went MER and wow! Now I'm running XFI and 96's seem like stockers. You will need to mod the ECM for low Z injectors if your decided to go with the 72-75's. Good luck, Brian

Mototron possibilities

When I spoke to Ken Mosher a couple years ago about these injectors, I got the impression that mototron injectors were/would/could be available in larger sizes than the 60 pounders....I wonder if any larger sizes are available?
