Does anyone have any results with this turbo? If so, with what other components. This turbo sounds like it would be nasty in a fast street car!

I would suspect, that this turbo is too new for any real world track results.

I drove one, and it hits very hard like a small turbo but with the power of big turbo. No track times yet hopefully soon.

these are billet wheels right?.... and are they available with B/B cartridge?
...also what is the next billet wheel due out? and when?

I've been eagerly waiting test results also.... what is the 65 exhaust wheel "classified" as? is it bigger than a P trim or is it between a stage V and a P?

The 65 wheel is the lastest design from Precision, that superceeds the P-trim turbine wheel. Dubbed the HP65 wheel. From what I've been told, it is larger than the P-trim wheel, with better aerodynamic characteristics. (IE out performs the P-trim wheel) Specs (inducer and exducer) have not been released at this time.
But, this would be why some have reported that is spools quicker and makes more power than the older 6776. (talking about the new PT6765 turbo)
I will pass along more when I get it.
In the meantime, here is a pic that I have clearance to share.

WOW - thanx Pat - From that angle it really looks like the pitch has change dramatically from the P - it almost looks like a "mini" GTQ:eek:

So which makes more power a billet wheel 62/65 or the new 67/65?

Is it possible we will soon see a billet wheel 67/65?

The 62/65 will make more today. A bilet 67 and a billet 70 are planned for next year.

Mike,

What were the dynoed real would numbers for this 62/65 and 67/76 that you saw? I have always wondered how close those figures were on our motors.

How much was it and do you need the water lines? What size torque convertor do you need for it?

It was about 30HP more with the 62. Thats as good as it gets ;)

you would need water lines for the BB version the journal bearing does not. A 3000 stall PTC works great

Patrick

It's a turbonetics 'F1' turbine wheel/shaft
it will get eaten alive in terms of flow by a Gt35 wheel/shaft
