Replacement/spare ECM

Am wondering where is the best place to get a new ECM so that I can have a spare. I know that Highway Stars has ECMs. Where else may I? I do know that you just can't go to Autozone and get an ECM for an 86/87, cause the main ECM programing is not the same. TRUE?

It has to be for a VIN "7" and the ECM part number last 4 digits will be "7148". You will transfer your old cal-pak and EPROM chip to the new box.

I bought my ECM at Oreilly auto for like $117. They are not great but they do work. Got to make sure the chip socket is not ragged out.
