No one saw the dominance of the Regal at VMP

Saturday?
Got there late missed first round of qual. made it to second round and everyone said watch out the track is real slick no one ran better than a 5.40. I said ok witch is the best lane so I get a good shout at it, because they only take 8 cars in for the race. They said the left is the best, So I said I'll take the right lane then. Went out off the trailer and ran a 5.12@142 in the bad lane? Took there number 1 qual. money and went on to win the race also.
John I'll put Dan up againts anyone in the country to build a motor and it stay together and race it. He goes thru mine every 2 years and I have never hurt anything before knock on wood. Don't forget what I said RACE it I'm not out for a fast time one time! I'm RACING mine! I'll run anyone with a V6 on 10 inch tires @3000lbs and no bars 1/8 OR 1/4 mile. All that can happen is I get beat and that happens alot with the guys I race with anyway. I love to race my car and love the time me and my dad spend doing it. I just don't have alot of money to go as fast as I want to. I said the other week that I want to run 200 in the 1/4 before I stop and I'm going to try and make that happen.

Richie,

Congratulations on your win.
I did not know that you were racing last weekend.
Dan is good there is no doubt, I would not have a problem using him. Duttweiler just happens to be about 1000 miles closer and has a dyno.

Tell us more about the 200MPH!!!
You are going to need a lot of HP to do this with the regal body!

I will give you a call this week to catch up.

Turbokid

I e-mailed u a few weeks back (ajordan09)Thankz 4 pointing me in the right direction! I spoke with Dan about getting on the list, im droping the motor off in a month or so. Dan is a busy man!

no problem man. He's not the fastest motor man out there but he does what he say's.
Mike not sure if I met you at Huntsville or not but that is a BAD ride you are building all the guy's around my shop love that thing. were do you live would like to see that thing up close? Is it the bowtie stuff? I was thinking about building one of those last year, ithink those heads would be could.

Richie, nice job on the win, so how big is the money at one of these events? Debating putting on some small tires when I am done building this thing and giving it a shot. What needs to usually be replaced after a two year stint when dan goes through your motor? That in car vid is sick, you must have the suspension dialed in pretty well for launches like that.

Hmm, actually just read the rules concerning your class, front end must be "stock" so that won't work. Guess I'll have to try to hit 200 along with you.:D

Stu,

The only smaller tire type class that I know off the allows tube front end is the PSCA OutLaw Street. This is a joke because the 33X10.5W Tires on a 14 or 15 inch rim are not that small!

Is that 1/8th or 1/4 mile? John, do you know what the fast guys are running in that class?

1/4 Mile 7.3s and should be a little faster this year.
You only have to weigh 2500lbs!:D

Richie, Thanks for the compliment. It looks even better in person. I came by your trailer twice on Saturday but one time you were gone and the other time you seemed busy and I didn't want to interrupt. I live in Arab, Al about 35 miles South of Huntsville. Yes it is Bowtie and the best of the aftermarket. Shoot me a email, I'd like to ask you acouple of questions, transmission related.

Later,
Mike

Im sure if Dan(father/tuner) and Chris white(son/engine builder/driver whos only 21yrs of age) set out to run such class theyd be right at TOP on side Riches turbo buick! While they do utilize WHEELIE BARS they dont use BOOST CONTROLERS! The cars are very similar in many was, i just think once u add another turbo to the program THAT SETS THE CARS A WORLD APART(well the ET & hp should say it) ! JUST CURIOUS HOW FAST WOULD RICHIE GO WITH ANOTHER TURBO AND THE 29Ws OUT BACK!

Having delt with both Dan's you can't even put these guys in the same league. Dan Strezo DLS motors last for seasons, not just a few "BIG" passes.

Running 7's with twin turbos was done 10 years ago so nothing new and exciting there.

You should bring out your 109 block car for a little heads up action in TSM and see how it stacks up.

Dave,

What about 7s with a twin turbo v-6 on stock suspension and drag radials???;)

Dave if u read the whole thread u should notice that were saying the same thing! Dave strezo/Rich kibler R BAD ASS! thats why i have a date with DLS to have a look at my S2 motor. And far as "going 7s 10 years ago" Have u made a 7sec pass yet? NOT BEING A D!CK BUT 7s WITH A V6 IS NO EASY TASK AND THERE IS ONLY A HANDFUL OF V6 GUYS WHO CAN DO IT!

My lil 109 block is in a totally illegal car(no cage) its for street cruising only! no classes!

And if u still have that TWIN GN bring it out and see how it stacks up against my turbo ford in a lil HEADS UP ACTION :D

The twin car was sold a LONG TIME ago and has ran 8.57 at #3650, on it's last pass and 3rd season out. I'd say that thing has a 7 in it if the weight wasn't there.

Who cares how a V6 stacks up against a V8 anyways?
