Running on 3 cyl.

Car went over a complete restoration took 2 yrs.The engine was swung out, and swung back in, valve covers weren't even taken off, car ran like a beast before.
Got it together now to the point where I can start it.
Runs only on 3 cyl. The manifolds get hot on 3,5, 6. and 1 2 4 stay cold
Plugs are not wet and dont smell of gas. Noid light indicated all inj getting signal
If I unplug injector connector on 2 and 1 car while running it doesnt even change its tune; # 3 removed changes a little.
I verified cam sensor, coil is working, and I swapped that. MAF translator is set right.
I am thinking injectors are clogged. Agree?

I wouldnt think that 3 injectors got clogged. Do you have have a good grounds including the coil pack/module?

One additional thing I have a different harness from another member with low miles and in much better shape, installed with out issue and I put the grounds on the last bolt on the P/S manifold instead of the back of the head. I have done that a decade now.

Reason I lean to inj clogging I was messing with mixes of E85 previous to work. The car broke a drive shaft and I did a major resto instead of a patch repair job.

It is the injectors i just went out and swapped 6 & 2 and 1 & 5 and now # 1, 2 manifold gets warm and 6,5 stay cold......

Well I would have never guessed that. E85 is corrosive but damn. Send them to Chuck and see if he can get them flowing.

If anybody can save your injectors, its Chuck at Cody Motorsports!!!

I recently sent him a set of 120's that were run on E-85 and MOST of them were plugged up. (E-85 is nasty stuff on Fuel systems) He worked his magic on them and returned them to full health. He provides a flow sheet when he is done. Chuck is the MAN!
